Screwed oral today as usual, I always screw oral.
I don't think it's an accurate gauge of our standard of spoken English anyway.
How do they expect us to hold a conversation about our feelings when we pretty much know nothing about our examiner, it's like talking to a stranger, how personal do they expect our response to be? It's not like I talk to random people on the street about my problems everyday right?

Oh well, on a brighter side, I rushed home to decide on a song(s) with Nelson and ivy today, since Jess was busy. It was so much fun, because they had to sing softly as it was already midnight but I could sing my hearts out heh.
If you're interested, we have a few songs in mind already, probably going to be a mashup or maybe a lineup of songs idk, since we have like 20mins or so? the concrete outline isn't really out yet but ivy is an awesome planner I believe.
We're roping in several other people to join us if we do have a lineup though, it'll be pretty boring if it's only the 4 of us.

Well I hope concrete plans come out soon, can't wait to start practicing yay! back to top?

So apparently a candidate cried in yesterday night's rally. Ok, why? Is it because you're afraid your policies aren't good enough to persuade people to vote for you so you need to use your tear to gain support from the people? If so, aren't you lying already? Even before you're elected? How are you suppose to expect people to trust you? on a more positive side, maybe you're just too soft hearted to be a MP, don't you think?

Who says all youths in Singapore is apathetic?
Well I don't think I am, I read the news everyday without fail.
Who says we don't care? It's OUR country too, OUR future, OUR home. Eventually it'll be our turn to vote, why should we be apathetic?
I mus admit that there are people who don't give a damn, but those are just.. Really not my concern.

On a lighter note, Gerald booked out of camp yesterday!
It's been like ages since he got a chance to rest, and since we last met up. Like almost 3 weeks I think.
He came over with cheesecake from idk where but is super delicious and we played Wii. Heh don't say we're childish.

So, I am interested in politics, so what.
There are young people joining politics too, even thought I don't admire any, it's not an old peoples game ok.

Everytime I hear a rally, I can't help feeling really really agitated.
Seriously, what government needs co pilots to steer the plane in the right direction bullshit.
There are planes that crash even when a co pilot is present, why?
Maybe it's crash is inevitable or maybe, it was the co pilot whose opinions distracted the pilot.
Ok maybe one co pilot is fine but hello, too many cooks spoil the broth, you know.

And I don't get why all the capable people can't forma government together? Why must they force people to vote, to choose between two capable leaders of the future? Why bother forming teams with other less capable people just to make a group to contest? I won't want to vote for the not so capable, but I won't want to penalise the capable ones either, how?

So I was reading xiaxue's latest post, and I was like nodding my head in agreement.

I attended SDP's rally last Sunday because it was near my house, and you could hear how they criticize and boo the Government.
But what they fail to realize is, what rights does people who have not done as much in constructing Singapore into what it is today have to criticize the people who are actually doing the job? Huh.
Of course, people can find fault and complain, but don't they realize that the PAP have to be doing something so that YOU can criticize right. how do you find fault in people who haven't done anything? You tell me how.
People make mistakes, what's important is that they learn and they change, don't crush them for mistakes they make, rather give them a chance to repair the damages.

If you're complaining about the foreign talent policies, give birth to more children lah! Then singapore no need foreigners to land roots here to replace OUR working population to keep our economy growing so that YOU can keep your job and income or you want to stop migrating over to other countries that offer you more salary to fulfil your greed for money. Or you would rather do the hard jobs like construction work huh? If you're complaining so much over foreigners, why not you do the constuction work for YOUR lift upgrading plans? You want?
Cmon people, please think about what the foreigners think when you discriminate them like this? Don't you feel mean?
