This time I'm not leaving without you
So. A blog post that summarizes my four years in Nan Hua High School. There was interesting things like; Appreciation of Chinese Culture (ACC) Design & Technology Lantern Making Integrated Project Work Camp Horizon - Fine Dining etc And opportunities I got to travel; March 2010 - I got to travel to Taiwan once more, this time with the school. Really enjoyed every moment spent with good company in an awesome place shopping, reading and eating. My first experience out of the continent was the English Language and Literature Learning Journey to England in June 2010. Being 8 hours behind time in Singapore, visiting Shakespeare's globe theater, witnessing the London Bridge do its thang, looking up at Big Ben at Trafalgar Square, watching Lion King the musical in the original theater, walking around Oxford and of course, touring Bath. I loved everything about Bath btw, the environment, the pace of life and the rich history within it. June 2010 - West Malaysia on an outdoor adventure trip with most of the cohort. I'm rather proud of myself for overcoming my fear of heights to conquer the obstacle course thing. There were also events which I got a chance to take part in with the school. Sports Carnival - Inline Skating (x2) CCA Extravaganza Career Talk Getting to know more about the ISD. Touring the Parliament House Chinese Music Course @ NP YOG IIA NJRC HBC Given the opportunity to care for people through Careforce and preparing for visit to Jamiyah Being a leader in Chinese Cultural Camp with NHPS Learning robotics skill (programming & such) and entrepreneurship skills in Innovation Club I'm thankful to the teachers; Mr Seow Mr P Ling Ms Wong Ms S Fu Ms Lin PS Ms T Kee Ms Nornie Ms Yeo Mr Quek Ms E Lim Ms Mah Ms Saw Mr Chan Mr Chee Mr Tay Mdm Wang Mrs Lee Mr E Tan Mr J Tan Mdm Tan Ms Tan Ms Chng Mrs Chng Ms Khoo Ms J Koh Ms Rani Ms Edwards Mdm Noraidah Mr Wong Mr N Liu Mrs Chang Ms Zhuang and friends I got to know in NH. We may or may not be on talking terms now, but I'm thankful to all of you for making a certain period of my life in NH fun. I know I'm temperamental sometimes and I'm very extreme, thanks for being so tolerant with me, forgiving me every time I show my bad attitude. 106 '08/206 '09; I love every single one of you (well, most I guess) for making my first two years in NH so amazing. Honestly, I grateful to be with all of you guys because you're all so friendly and nice. 305 '10/405 '11 & Lit classmates; It's been a rough to years with this class, at least it wasn't THAT bad. I still appreciate the laughter you brought me with all the class jokes and everything. Overseas/Camp buddies; Xinlin Huili Xiaotong William Qiyuan Tiange Jerlene Jianing Wanying Kimberly Beatrice Denise Patrick Leighton Louis Jovena Shichan Minmin Yinghui Sara Jingyee Victoria Lawrence Delia Mingjun Jianle Yiting Xinhuei Huixin Huixin Kailin Xiangyun Wanyee Shuting Meijie Kaijian Qixiang Elias I'm really thankful for the company you all gave me in a foreign land or environment. Tolerating with my nonsense must be a chore, but I'm really grateful that you did. Innovation club; Tickmeng Khengleng Hadley Gibson Zhenguo Chinchye Huahan Yongshin Yuheng Orion Weiyang Kelmond William Darren Leighton Louis Kent Zheeyong Janson Lien Yuting Ethan Junjie Richie Glendon Weiyang You all really means a lot to me. We've been through so many competitions together, and I really appreciate all your help since I'm a complete newbie. Thanks for also having so much faith in me by giving me a position in Sec 2. I will remember sneaking around school having club camp in secret with another cca group. The time we shared playing bonding games through the night, styling each other's hair and laughing at our inside jokes. Heart to heart conversations we shared with one another and queuing for free ice cream. And then there was the time I nearly broke down waiting for my group to present, thanks for the tip and calming me down. Complaining about the unfairness of the referee system for the Sumo event. Jumping around to cheer for our teams. Frantically rushing out fortune cookies for CCA Extravaganza. Me falling face flat at WCP. Slamming into all of you during our Captain Ball games. I'll never forget all the memories we shared. You guys are the best part of my NH journey, I swear. I'm sorry though for changing so much, becoming so irresponsible and annoying, but thank you for always welcoming me back and making me feel like home every time I return. You guys were more like my mentor, friend and brothers rather than seniors. I genuinely love all of you guys from the bottom of my heart, honestly. (Wow I did not just write such a long thank you note to my clubmates omg) Basically, that sums up my years in NH. I'm too lazy to dig out photos, I shall try to do so on Friday or something. PSLE results are coming out tomorrow. Watching my sister panic about her results is simply amusing because that's just not her style. I hope she do well though. Well, at least well enough to get into an express course. Till then.
